20 April 2011BankLink is completely secure and has achieved PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliancy — a security standard set by the major credit card companies. Small business owners do not disclose their bank passwords at any time and the service does not have any banking or transaction capabilities.
Electronic copies of clients' transaction data is sent to their accountant under strict international security measures, in accordance with the requirements of all the major banks.
Transaction data is supplied in encrypted form and cannot be accessed by anyone other than the accountant.
Accountants cannot register small business clients with BankLink until they have provided a signed authority form.
