A new world in client communication

We are delighted to announce the release of our enhanced BankLink Practice and BankLink Books solutions, which will improve the way you communicate with your clients.

Using BankLink Online™, you can now transfer data seamlessly with your BankLink Books clients without the need to “check-in/check-out” files. 

If you don’t already have clients who use BankLink Books, this is a great time to get them started. BankLink Books is the perfect solution for small business clients who have some accounting knowledge and want to manage their day-to-day bookwork.

Introducing enhanced BankLink Practice and BankLink Books

This release replaces the need to “check-in/check-out” files with the introduction of Enhanced Client File Handling. The process is quick, simple, and provides version control to prevent you receiving old or un-coded files. Enhanced Client File Handling allows you to exchange files with clients via BankLink Online.

  1. Select the file(s) manually or use Scheduled Reports in BankLink Practice to choose which files to send to your client
  2. The files are delivered to BankLink Online
  3. An email is sent to your client to let them know the file is available
  4. Your client then simply opens BankLink Books to collect their file
  5. Once the file is received in BankLink Online, that is the only way it can be returned

What do you need to do?

To start using Enhanced Client File Handling, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of BankLink Practice.

Once you have upgraded BankLink Practice, your BankLink Books clients will need to upgrade their software. They can do this by opening their read-only file or any file they have checked in and clicking Help | Check for Updates
